Canadian Foreign Affairs Minister Mélanie Joly has confirmed that Canada will implement retaliatory tariffs against the United States. Tariffs will soon be placed on U.S. exports, including orange juice, peanut butter, wine, coffee, cars, trucks, steel, and aluminum. Joly stated that Canada is fully prepared to impose tariffs on up to C$155 billion worth of American goods in response to proposed U.S. tariffs. She emphasized, "Let’s be clear—we are ready. We are ready with $155 billion in tariffs."
